That is the question floating around the internet. As we all know, Danielson has said this will be his last full-time year of wrestling. So, should he become the AEW World Champion?? Would an AEW championship do anything to enhance his already legendary career? Personally, I do not think he needs the championship. Any wrestling fan already knows how great Danielson is in the ring. Could I see Danielson winning the Owen Hart Tournament to have a chance at the championship in Wembley? Absolutely, and I would not be surprised if that happened. As we all know, Tony Khan books his shows for us 'sickos.' It would be a cherry on top of a sundae if Danielson won the championship at Wembley, but I fear many fans have already fantasy-booked the other "GOAT," Will Ospreay, winning at Wembley.
Bryan Danielson's career will not be based on championships won but on his outstanding ability in the ring. Nobody is close to being the technical wrestler he is currently in the business. There are some wrestlers with potential: Zach Sabre Jr., Wheeler Yuta, and maybe Daniel Garica, who could be on the same level. With that being said, whoever Danielson passes the reigns to will have many huge shoes to fill to become the next best technical wrestler.
