My initial thoughts were that this was going to be a boring show. They put Jade, one of your hottest stars, on the pre-show, which was in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. While the crowd in Saudi Arabia is always good, there are other issues we will not get into, as this is not the right time or place. The Jade/Bianca match was good as neither lady used their finisher in this match yet still won. The Becky/Liv match was boring, as I personally do not like either and could care less who won. Unfortunately, the boring-ass Liv won, and we will get another boring title run. Did we not learn from Liv's first title run? I know, they will say, but that was when the old man was in charge, and now we have the savior Triple H. So it will be different? I guess we will have to wait and see. The Gable/Zayn/Reed match was decent. There were some holy shit spots in this match like Gable German suplexing both Zayn and Reed. Although I would have loved to see Gable win, Zayn retaining was going to happen since he has ties to the Middle Eastern culture. I am not upset with the outcome. I am intrigued at where the Gable/Otis story is going. We then get Nia and Lyra. Lyra is coming out in some Edgar Allen Poe cosplay Raven outfit... Fear the Raven, NEVERMORE! The match was ok, and the right lady won. Since returning to WWE, Nia has been on fire, and I would love to see her have a title run. Now, I'm going to my favorite match, Gunther/Orton. Yes, there is a ton of bias in this, as I have been an Orton fan since he first appeared in WWE. This match showcased Gunther as the next one in WWE, and Orton did the job of a vet by putting Gunther over. I do fear that Orton may have injured his knee. Gunther is on pace for a title run in the future. The final match of the night, Cody/Logan. Match did what it was supposed to do. Make you hate Logan Paul even more and show how Cody can always overcome the odds. Overall, the PLE was not bad, keeping my interest for three-thirds of the show.
